Hurricane Helene Update (10/1):

Casey Management staff had a brief meeting this morning and we would like to pass along the following updates regarding our continued storm damage updates.

We currently have one offsite office that has been condemned – so we are pivoting to try to house some staff here at the main office.

We are all still working continually on storm damage for our associations that experienced the greatest impact from Helene.

Bridget has been working tirelessly to meet with mitigation companies, insurance agents, adjusters, etc.

For those associations that fared well we are very happy for that outcome. Please know, however, that we have 200 units as of now that have had 4’ plus feet of water and many that are missing walls. That does not count the few associations we cannot even get to yet.

We ask for your continued patience as we work through these issues

Please be advised the Post Office has already let us know that mail for October will be way behind due to the storm not even just to Florida but also throughout many states. If you are mailing payments, please expect that they will be late getting to us. I would not be alarmed if your checks do not clear until later in the month.

Hurricane Helene Update (9/27):

Currently, we have completed assessments for all properties east of the trail, and fortunately, they were not impacted by water damage. We are now in the process of evaluating the properties located west of the trail. Regarding properties on the island, road access is currently unavailable. We are actively coordinating with various restoration companies to begin recovery efforts as soon as the water recedes. Until then, we strongly advise against attempting to access these areas as it remains unsafe.

If you have water damage contact your insurance company and file a claim for your personal property and any damage not covered by the association. Additionally, please monitor your email for communication from your association, including any required authorization forms.
